PARMA, Ohio — Padua students raised more than $11,000 in 18 minutes during the annual Coin Wars fundraiser.
Students competed against different classes to dump the most coins into buckets.
All of the proceeds go to 24 different local charities and families in need, including A Special Wish, Parma Animal Shelter, May Dugan Center, the William Cosgrove Center and more.
Students raised a total of $11,194.97.
