Sprague Road in Parma is back open after it was closed on Tuesday when the asphalt buckled.
A picture tweeted out by Parma police shows the gap in the asphalt was as tall as an iPhone.

The heat may have been a contributing factor, especially after temperatures reached a record-breaking 93 degrees on Monday and a record-tying 91 degrees on Tuesday.
