Cuyahoga County Board of Elections holding a job fair to fill multiple positions

CLEVELAND — The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections is holding a job fair on Friday to fill full-time temporary positions to assist in the Nov. 5 General Election, the March Primary and the Presidential Elections in 2020.

Open interviews will be held for a wide variety of positions at the Job Fair. The job fair is on Friday, Aug. 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections, 2925 Euclid Ave.

Free parking is location across the street, south of the Board of Elections, 2921 Prospect Ct. The lot is accessible from East 30th Street.

The jobs pay $11.50 per hour and may last up to several weeks or months depending on the assignment and department. Duties performed by temporary employees include proofing ballots, scanning absentee ballots, testing voting units, opening mail, processing absentee applications, staffing in-office early voting and preparing election-related equipment and supplies.

Registration is encouraged before the fair. Applicants can register and view available positions by visiting the "Employment" section at www.443vote.com.

Pre-registered applicants should plan on approximately one hour to complete the skills assessment and interview. Please allow extra time if you do not pre-register for the Job Fair.
