BROOKLYN, Ohio — Three people are facing charges following a large brawl at a Brooklyn restaurant Sunday.
Layunna Thompson, 27, of Cleveland; Ervin Kennedy, 30, of Cleveland and Jeremy Garner, 27, of East Cleveland have been charged with rioting, a first-degree misdemeanor.
The fight happened around 9 p.m. at Golden Corral, 8696 Brookpark Road, according to authorities. Officers responded to the restaurant after receiving reports of a massive fight involving 20 people.
One person was transported to a nearby hospital for a cut, authorities said. A second individual was treated on scene for respiratory distress but refused to be taken to a hospital.
Authorities said a witness told them the fight may have started due to some of the individuals having been in a previous fight in Cleveland last month.
All three individuals are scheduled to appear in court on March 20, according to authorities.
No additional information has been released.
