UPDATE: According to Garfield Heights police on Aug. 17, the man has returned home.

The Garfield Heights Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a photographer who never showed up to a job assignment on Wednesday afternoon in Akron.

Police said Desmond Burell Beasley, 33, who works as a photographer, was on his way to the I PROMISE school in Akron for a job, but he never showed up.

Family and friends who spoke to police said it was "not like him to miss an obligation."
