Hey teens! You could win a $100 gift card for making a traffic safety meme

CLEVELAND — Are you a master of memes and between the ages of 14 to 18 years old? If so, you could win a $100 gift card by creating a meme for the teen traffic safety meme contest being held by State Farm and the Cuyahoga County Safe Communities Coalition.

The meme can be on a traffic safety topic of your choice, but the meme should convey a “life-saving message,” according to officials.

Sample topics include seat-belt usage, distracted driving, impaired driving, drowsing driving, speeding, etc.

Memes should be family-friendly. Officials ask that you keep the memes PG and avoid using profanity or violence. Memes containing those will not be considered.

You can use whatever meme generating service you like to create the meme, such as https://imgflip.com/memegenerator or https://www.kapwing.com/meme-maker. After it’s made, send the meme, student name and school to Rachel.Farinelli@UHhospitals.org.

The deadline to enter is May 1.
