Strongsville is the latest city to get hit by porch pirates. The Strongsville Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying the man in the photos. The image was captured by a homeowner's doorbell camera.
Strongsville isn't the only city falling victim to package thieves, and there are some things you can do to protect your purchases.
-Get your packages delivered to your office or workplace
-Require a signature for delivery
-Use an Amazon Locker
-Insure your package
-Look out for each other- text or call a neighbor when a package is at their door.
Strongsville Police urge anyone who sees a porch pirate in the act to not approach that person. Police say write down the license plate number and then give them a call.
