Hundreds of people gathered Wednesday night at a vigil to show their support for the family of Khloe Mae Nida, an 8-year-old girl who was struck and killed by a car in the backyard of her home earlier this week.
The vigil was held at the Brook Park Memorial Elementary School.
Nida was playing in her aunt's backyard when she was hit by a car that came speeding up the driveway, according to the GoFundMe page created by her aunt and police.

The GoFundMe was set up to help pay for the girl's memorial and funeral service.
The girl was described as "smart, brave, and talented" who always looked out for her younger brother and sister.
Police are still investigating the incident. No charges have been filed in connection with her death.
