The man on a motorized scooter who was struck by a vehicle on the city's west side Wednesday morning has died.
The victim, Glenn Sage, 59, was struck in the area of Fulton and Walton Roads and taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Police say that an accident involving a Jeep Wrangler and a Ford Focus caused the Jeep to rotate and collide with the man in the motorized wheelchair, who was stationary at the time.
The driver sustained minor injuries, according to police.
