CLEVELAND — A 19-year-old man died late Tuesday night after he was shot at a gas station near Lee and Harvard roads.
The man has been identified as Tommy Micah Lavette, 19, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Lavette and two other men went to the gas station to meet up with an unknown man, authorities said. When they arrived, the man pulled out a gun and opened fire, striking Lavette and a nearby car.
The shooter fled the scene in a gold 4-door sedan, authorities said.
It’s not known what prompted the shooting.
The matter remains under investigation.
