MetroHealth's mobile mammography unit is bringing breast cancer screenings to patients across NEO

CLEVELAND — MetroHealth Medical Center's Mobile 3D Mammography Coach is making stops throughout Northeast Ohio to provide women with lifesaving preventive breast cancer screenings in a convenient mobile unit.

The mobile unit will have regularly scheduled dates at MetroHealth's Cleveland Heights, Parma, Bedford, Buckeye and Brecksville locations.

In 15 minutes or less, you can receive a state-of-the-art 3D mammography exam from a trained technologist at MetroHealth.

Patients can use the mobile 3D Mammography coach if they:

  • Have a valid screening mammogram order from their provider at the scheduled appointment.
  • Are at least 40 years old or older.
  • Had their last screening mammography exam performed 11 months ago or later.
  • Are not pregnant or currently breastfeeding.
  • Can easily walk up and down stairs.
  • Are not currently having breast problems or have a recent breast cancer diagnosis (within the past 2 years).
