SOLON, Ohio — Attention all Chick-fil-A lovers: A new location is opening in Northeast Ohio to satisfy your chicken sandwich craving.

The new location, located at 6150 Som Center Road in Solon, will bring upwards of 100 new jobs to the area.

The operators of the new franchise location are natives to Northeast Ohio, husband and wife duo Chris and Lauren Aey.

“I am excited to open Solon’s first Chick-fil-A and have an opportunity to serve the community both inside and outside my restaurant,” said Aey in a news release. “My team and I are committed to providing Second Mile Service as we strive to enrich the lives of all our guests and give back to the metro-Cleveland community who has so graciously supported the brand.”

The nearly 5,000-square-foot location will feature a dual-lane drive-thru merging into a single pick-up window point that can accommodate up to 200 cars per hour.

Another feature in the drive-thru includes environment-controlled canopies for those unpredictable weather days in Northeast Ohio.

The Solon location will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Twelve hours before the grand opening on Wednesday, Sept. 4, the owners will host a family-friendly overnight pop-up party. The first 100 adults, ages 18 and older, will have the chance to win a year's worth of free Chick-fil-A meals. More details on the 12-hour camp out here.
