BAY VILLAGE, Ohio — An Investigation Discovery miniseries about murder and mystery on the Great Lakes is set to start Sunday night with a three-hour special on the kidnapping and murder of 10-year-old Amy Mihaljevic.
On Oct. 27, 1989, Amy received a phone call from a man authorities believe she may have known. The caller persuaded Amy to meet at a nearby Bay Village shopping center. Amy was abducted and her body was found four months later in Ashland County.
Nearly 30 years later, authorities are still searching for clues about who her abductor is. To this day investigators are still working the case.
