NORTH ROYALTON, Ohio — The city of North Royalton has its first-ever brewery with the grand opening of Blue Monkey Brewing Company on Saturday.
The new brewery is family-owned by longtime North Royalton residents Rick and Ryan Sacha, Jim MacKay and Sean Kramp.
Blue Monkey Brewing Company has five different craft beers on tap—a blonde stout called "Salted Carmel," a peanut butter porter called "Colobus PBP", a porter called "Colobus", an India pale ale called "Jungle Juice" and an American pale called "Vine Swinger"—all brewed in North Royalton.
The brewery is BYOF (Bring Your Own Food) so guests can bring snacks or order food while they’re enjoying cold local brews.
Blue Monkey Brewing Company's grand opening ceremony kicked off at 12 p.m. Saturday afternoon and continues until 10 p.m. Saturday night.
The brewery is located at 5540 Wallings Rd.
