A pursuit by the Ohio State Highway Patrol ended in a crash in Cleveland overnight.

The chase started after a trooper attempted a traffic stop at Clark Avenue and West 44th Street just before 4 a.m.

The driver of the white minivan took off at a high rate of speed.

The pursuit continued onto I-90 and then off on East 36th Street.

That's where the van went through a red light and crashed into an SUV carrying three generations of women--a grandmother, mother and daughter--at East 36th Street and Euclid Avenue.

All involved were transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are looking into reports that another suspect may have gotten out of the van and ran.

OSHP officials said the chase lasted six minutes and reached speeds as high as 80 to 90 mph.
