One person was sent to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in critical condition after a shooting at a Marathon gas station, according to EMS.

The shooting occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Several police cars arrived at the Marathon gas station at E. 140th Street and St. Clair Avenue to find the victim, Kelenda Jones, of Cleveland, on the ground with a gunshot wound to his right leg.

Jones was not cooperating with officers when asked for additional details about what led up to the shooting.

Surveillance video shows Jones exiting a blue 4-door Hyundai and pointing a gun at a black Audi.

Someone in the Audi fired shots back, striking Jones in the left thigh, causing him to fall to the ground. The Audi ran over Jones while fleeing the area.

Correon Jackson, 22, of Cleveland who was a security guard at the gas station, ran out of the store and fired one shot at the Audi while it was leaving.

Jackson picked up the gun that Jones had dropped earlier and threw it back in the Jones' vehicle.

Jackson was arrested by Cleveland police.
