Rocky River police are investigating after they discovered someone spray-painted derogatory comments about law enforcement on the property of Rocky River High School.

On Oct. 18, police went to Rocky River High School after a school official found the words "Cops Kill" and "F*** the Police" painted on a rock near Wagar Road, located adjacent to the school, according to police.

A second saying "Cops Kill" was painted on the exterior wall of the high school near the Wagar Road entrance.

School officials reviewed overnight video and determined the vandalism occurred the night before on Oct. 17 at around 9:35 p.m.

The vandal in question was an unidentified man riding on a bicycle.

The same words were discovered again on the Northview Road Interstate 90 overpass and on the street on Westfield Lane, according to police.

No further information was given on an arrest.
