MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio — Maple Heights police are investigating an early Saturday morning shooting that left two people dead and one person gravely injured.
Police were called by a resident who said an unknown man was at his door and in need of help. Police and EMS responded to the scene. While treating the victim, authorities received another call regarding gunshots in the 14400 block of Brunswick Avenue.
Authorities responded to that location and found a residence with an open door and blood on it. Inside, police found two men with fatal gunshot wounds, according to a news release.
The two men have been identified as Willie G. Ivy II, 35, and Julius Moore, 29, according to police.
The third victim, who is 31, is being treated at MetroHealth Medical Center for life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
