Shaker Heights High School principal Jonathan Kuehnle has been placed on administrative leave.
Interim Superintendent Dr. Stephen Wilkens announced the decision on Thursday.
Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction Dr. David Glasner will serve as the substitute principal.
Glasner and Wilkens will speak to the faculty and staff on Friday.
It is unknown why Kuehnle was placed on administrative leave.
