SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio — Due to a power outage in South Euclid, officials have opened City Hall as a warming shelter for those in need.

Anyone in the area without power and in need of somewhere to keep warm is welcome at the warming center.

Those needing to charge their phones or electronic devices are also welcome to use the electricity at City Hall, the city said.

To enter the warming center city officials say to use the back door by the South Euclid Police Department. The door is open 24/7.

South Euclid City Hall is located at 1349 Green Rd.

Between 21 and 100 customers are still left without power, according to FirstEnergy.

The cause of the outage is under investigation, but restoration is expected to be completed by 11 p.m., FirstEnergy said.
