Morning commuters should plan an alternate route after a water main break shut down a main thoroughfare in Independence.
According to police, Brecksville Road is shut down between Plaza and Rockside Roads due to water flooding into the streets.
There is no estimated time of repair. Authorities said the water main break will affect traffic through Friday morning.
