Considered a place where you could find anything from plants and herbs to local food products and gardening supplies among a neighborhood filled with bars and restaurants, The Tremont General Store announced on Friday it will be closing its doors for good.
According to a Facebook post, the business has been a part of the community for more than two and a half years. Its final day of business will be on Oct. 31.
"I cannot say how much we’ve loved being here and being a part of a vibrant community filled with so many wonderful people who supported the store and those relationships are cherished!" said owner Kevin Kubovcik in a Facebook post.
Ahead of its final day of business, the store is hosting a sale where everything is priced to sell. All pottery and gardening supplies will be marked 75 percent off. All other food items are sale priced.
