MEDINA, Ohio — On Wednesday afternoon, neighbors and friends of Natalie Wilson welcomed the teen home from the hospital after she was paralyzed in a sledding accident in Hinckley Reservation in February.
Natalie will continue to rehabilitate from her injury, and the family hopes she can regain sensation and mobility the next year.
The community helped raise over $28,000 on GoFundMe for Natalie’s treatment, and last weekend, students and staff from the Medina Career Center, where Natalie is studying cosmetology, built a ramp at the family’s home.
