The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle crash that left one person dead on Sunday evening.
The crashed happened at around 5:28 p.m. on State Route 93 near Green Valley Drive in New Franklin, located in Summit County.
State troopers said a 71-year-old woman failed to yield from a private drive when she was hit by a 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The male driver of the motorcycle and his passenger, Toni Kallenborn, 54, were both ejected from the motorcycle.
Kallenborn was pronounced dead at the scene after receiving fatal injuries. The driver of the motorcycle was taken to Akron City Hospital-Summa Health with serious injuries.
The 71-year-old driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries. She was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash.
It's unknown if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
