An 18-year-old woman was kidnapped and robbed in Cleveland's South Collinwood neighborhood Saturday night, police confirmed on Sunday.
Police said the woman was sitting in her car parked in the 800 block of East 149th Street at around 8:20 p.m. with a friend. The two were talking about going to prom.
Police said the 18-year-old woman said her friend left the vehicle and went inside a nearby house multiple times.
After her friend went inside, three men approached the vehicle and demanded at gunpoint that the 18-year-old get in the back seat. The three men drove her to a Huntington Bank where they forced her to take out money, totaling $120, police said.
The 18-year-old was dropped off in the area of East 147th Street and Westropp Avenue where she flagged down a driver for help.
Police returned to East 149th Street where they spoke to adult residents and multiple juveniles. Police were given consent to search the residence where they found a replica handgun and the 18-year-old woman's bank card.
Police have not made any arrests and the kidnapping and robbery remain under investigation.
