The Cedar Point causeway reopened Tuesday morning after storm damage closed the road Sunday evening and all day Monday.
Crews were out Monday cleaning up after 70 mph winds snapped poles and took down utility wires and trees.
Those downed poles and wires trapped families in their cars for hours Sunday.
Mike Eck, a First Energy spokesperson, said it was the worst damage he'd seen in a long time.
"I can't recall when we last saw damage like this," Eck said.
The park will open at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
