HAMBDEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating after a 32-year-old Chardon man was killed in a crash Monday night on US 6 in Hambden Township.
The crash happened at around 7:44 p.m. on US 6 near milepost 8.
Robert Chorman, 32, of Chardon, was traveling eastbound on US 6 in a Subaru Legacy when he drove off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Investigators said Chorman was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene, state troopers said.
US 6 was closed to traffic for approximately two hours as troopers investigated the crash.
