GEAUGA COUNTY, Ohio — There’s a new camping experience to enjoy in Big Creek Park in Geauga County.
The treehouse-style experience was built among the trees, featuring sliding doors on both sides, a porch overlooking a scenic ravine, wooden bunk beds and a fold down bistro set including a small table and two chairs.
Guests can take advantage of the steel fire ring with a flip-up cooking grate, a 10-feet-by-10-feet tent pad and a stone bench.
Reservations for the treehouse can only be made by calling 440-286-9516 between 19 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at least one day prior to your stay.
The fees are $25 a night for Geauga County residents and $50 for out-of-county residents, with a $25 refundable security deposit to take the campsite key.
Check-in is between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Check-out is at noon.
The campsite is located at Big Creek Park–9160 Robinson Road in Chardon Township.
