More than 1,000 residents in Bainbridge Township are without power after power lines catch fire

BAINBRIDGE TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Residents in Bainbridge Township are without power Wednesday morning after power lines caught fire, according to Bainbridge Township police.

Bainbridge Road between Geauga Lake and Chagrin River roads is closed because of the power lines on fire.

According to FirstEnergy, 1,409 residents are without power. More info on updated power outage numbers here.

Residents who lost power should contact CEI and not the Bainbridge Township Police Department.

An update will be provided once Bainbridge Road is reopened.
