CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Multiple Northeast Ohio communities topped the list of safest cities in the state, according to a study done by Safewise.
Chester Township in Geauga County was listed as the safest city, followed by Sagamore Hills.
Montville Township, Broadview Heights and Olmsted Township rounded out the top five.
Other communities who made the list include Bainbridge Township, Brecksville, Aurora, Brunswick Hills Township, Louisville, Seven Hills, Madison Township, Vermilion, Avon Lake and Olmsted Falls.
Forty percent of the cities on the list have been recognized for the second year in a row and not one homicide was reported in any of those cities.
