EASTLAKE, Ohio — Several vehicles were damaged Wednesday morning when a motorist smashed into a police cruiser on Interstate 90 that was pulled off to the side of the road for a traffic stop.
Thankfully, no one was injured.
The crash happened around 11:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 near East 305th Street.
According to Eastlake police, a car hit one of the cruisers and then a civilian vehicle that was stopped.
The impact caused the cruiser to collide with a second cruiser that was at the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. Drugs and/or alcohol aren't believed to be contributing factors to the crash. No charges have been filed, police said.
