EASTLAKE, Ohio — An Eastlake woman looking to bring joy to her community during trying times takes to her porch every night to put on a concert for anyone who wants to listen.
Ellen Schwartz, 26, has been performing on her porch since March, playing her saxophone every night around 7 p.m. at her home on Bayshore Drive.
With two young children, many of Schwartz’s songs are Disney themed, according to her mother Susan Klink.
No matter what songs she performs, Schwartz starts her performances with the national anthem each night.
Her neighbors watch her performances from the sidewalk and people driving by in their cars will often honk in support of her concerts.
Schwartz, saxophone in hand, brings positivity to those around her each night.
