KIRTLAND, Ohio — New video shows the moments after a threat, later confirmed a hoax, left students running out of the classrooms and fleeing to safety at Lakeland Community College.

"I'm at Lakeland Community College. I got two pipe bombs here I'm near the radio station building, I'm getting real ready here to shoot everyone inside of the college," was the terrifying call made to police Thursday night.

It only took minutes for officers to respond to the threat at Lakeland Community College while dispatchers kept the caller calm and talking.

"I'm going to shoot everyone, I'm shooting everyone here," the caller said.

Officers went from room to room with their rifles, checking them out and turning off the lights and closing the doors.

It didn't take authorities long to figure out the caller wasn't on campus. After about 18 minutes, the caller hung up.

Police said the reports came from a web-based phone number, which means he could have been calling from anywhere. The investigation is still ongoing.
