MENTOR, Ohio — A Cleveland woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon for allegedly robbing a bank in Mentor earlier in the day.
Shannita M. Martin, 28, has been charged with aggravated robbery.
Martin allegedly robbed the Key Bank in the 8400 block of Munson Road at gunpoint just before 1 p.m.. Following the robbery, officers chased Martin a short distance on State Route 2 but called off the chase for safety reasons, authorities said.
Martin was later located on I-90 near State Route 91 by Wickliffe police. Authorities used stop sticks on Martin’s vehicle and she was taken into custody without incident after pulling over, authorities said.
The matter is under investigation. No additional information has been released.
