MENTOR, Ohio — Orchard Hollow Elementary School in Mentor has been disinfected after a parent, who was there last week to meet the staff, tested positive for the coronavirus.

School officials said the parent was at the building on March 6 and again on March 11.

According to school officials, the parent is doing OK. Anyone who was in direct contact with the parent has been notified by the district.

After learning of the incident, the school district called the Lake County General Health District and took measures to sanitize the school.

Correction: A prior version of the story stated the dates the parent was at the building incorrectly.
