PAINESVILLE, Ohio — Police are investigating the homicide of a Painesville man, according to the Painesville Police Department.
Around 11:45 a.m., police were called to a home on Mentor Avenue to check the welfare of a resident, police said.
After entering the home, officers found a 65-year-old man, later identified as Tim Meola, dead inside the home, according to police.
This incident remains under investigation.
Police are also asking for the public’s help in locating Meola’s vehicle, which has been reported stolen from the residence.
The vehicle is a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Ohio plates GWC-1718.
