LORAIN, Ohio — Lorain police are investigating after a 14-year-old boy was shot and killed Saturday evening.
Around 7:45 p.m., officers responded to Oakwood Park after receiving a report of a shooting.
Once on scene, officers found a 14-year-old boy near the basketball court area of the park with two gunshot wounds, police said.
The teenager was flown that night to Metro Hospital in serious condition. On Sunday, the boy died from his injuries, police said.
