16-year-old boy shot, killed following party in Lorain

LORAIN, Ohio — A teenage boy is dead following a disagreement at a party early Sunday morning, according to the Lorain Police Department.

Around 4:30 a.m., police received a call that shots had been fired in the 3000 block of Vine Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers found a 16-year-old boy who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

The boy was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Detectives later learned that there was a party at a nearby residence. As the party was ending, a disagreement broke out that led the the shooting of the 16-year-old boy, according to police.

The identity of the boy has not yet been released. The shooting is currently under investigation.
