A 17-year-old girl in Avon Lake was hospitalized Tuesday evening after she fell out of a moving vehicle and hit her head.
The incident happened around 10:42 p.m. on Sunset Road, according to police.
The girl sustained a head injury in the incident, police said. She was taken to a nearby hospital and then flown to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.
The girl's condition is unknown at this time.
