Lorain police have made an arrest in connection to a drive-by shooting that left two people under the age of 20 injured early Saturday morning.
Shortly after 3:00 a.m., a 19-year-old girl was shot in her left shoulder and an 11-year-old boy was shot in his right thigh when bullets came through the walls of their home on Larkmoor Street.
An officer spotted a vehicle leaving the scene which prompted a pursuit of the vehicle. The vehicle crashed after failing to stop.
Police arrested 26-year-old Anthony Lamar Charlton at the scene while other suspects fled on foot.
Multiple firearms were recovered at the scene. As the investigation continues, multiple other arrests are expected to come, according to police.
