GRAFTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A 23-year-old man was seriously injured in a rollover crash that occurred in Lorain County early Saturday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Around 5:02 a.m., a 2017 Ford Focus was driving east on state Route 303 near Erhart Road in Grafton Township when it traveled off the left side of the roadway, overturned and struck a tree.

The driver was extricated from the car through mechanical means by the Grafton Township Fire Department and flown to Akron General Hospital by helicopter with serious injuries, according to troopers.

Troopers said the driver was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, which remains under investigation.
