LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio — A 51-year-old man was killed after his car struck a tree in Camden Township, located in Lorain County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 8:42 p.m. Thursday when a Toyota Corolla, driven by Raymond Harris, 51, of Wakeman, was traveling southbound on Baumhart Road, when it traveled off the west side of the road, struck a sign and hit a tree before coming to a stop.
Harris, who was wearing a seat belt, died from injuries sustained in the crash.
Alcohol is not suspected to be a contributing factor in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
