A 57-year-old man in Lorain County was charged this week for allegedly dragging a man and running him over with a vehicle.
The driver, Jeffrey Williamson, is charged with felonious assault, according to Lorain police.
The incident happened on June 6 near Homewood and Pearl avenues in Lorain.
According to authorities, the victim sustained serious injuries from the incident.
Police said they were able to track the vehicle down in Vermilion after receiving an anonymous tip. Williamson was located and then arrested by the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force.
Police ask that anyone who may have witnessed the crime call Lorain Police Detective Buddy Sivert at 440-204-2105.
