LORAIN, Ohio — The Lorain County Sheriff's Office rescued eight people from an overturned boat.
Deputies said they received a call around 5:15 p.m. from the Coast Guard about a boat in distress.
When crews arrived, they found eight people standing on top of the overturned boat, without life jackets.
All of the boaters were provided life jackets and treated for minor injuries.
The U.S. Coast Guard, Lorain Port Authority and Vermilion Harbor Patrol assisted with the rescue.
