According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, they were in a 2006 Jeep Liberty heading westbound on State Route 2 in Elyria Township when the SUV went off the right side of the road, hit a retraining wall and rolled over.

The extent of their injuries is unknown.

The crash remains under investigation, but authorities said a mechanical defect may have caused the crash.
