ELYRIA, Ohio — If the adoption price for getting a pet is too steep for you, then this is your time to adopt.
The Friendship Animal Protective League in Elyria is offering half-priced adoptions through Sunday.
Adults cats and adult dogs that are black, white or a combination are involved in the "Black Tie, White Tails" adoption event.
Adult dogs over 20 pounds are $62.50 and adult cats are $12.50
The shelter is open from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays.
