LORAIN, Ohio — An Elyria man is in custody after allegedly making a threat on Facebook about shooting students at Lorain schools.
When authorities learned of the threat, Lorain police posted officers at every school and called in the U.S. Marshals.
Currently the LPD, & surrounding departments, are investigating the post, & have stationed officers at every school across our district.

It has been confirmed the threat was posted by an Elyria adult, and he is currently in the custody of the Elyria Police Department. 2/2
Elyria police located the suspect and arrested him on an outstanding warrant, authorities said.
According to Lorain police, the suspect could face an inducing panic charge as well as other additional charges.
