Elyria Schools is looking into a child being bitten by a possible coyote.
The director of Elyria Schools said an animal that may have been a coyote was reported near one of their playgrounds Tuesday night.
A child that was playing on Oakwood's playground after hours was allegedly bitten by the animal.
Officials are asking that everyone take extra caution with children and animals outside.
