Four people were arrested on Wednesday when Elyria police conducted two raids aimed at taking into custody an alleged heroin and fentanyl drug trafficker.
Leon Robinson, 29, was arrested when officers executed a search warrant at a home in the 300 block of Furnace Street.
Robinson was charged with having weapons under disability, two counts of drug possession, two counts of trafficking in drugs, receiving stolen property and having drug paraphernalia, according to authorities.
The warrants were served following an investigation into Robinson's alleged illicit activities.
During a search of the property, police said they found a loaded AK-47. Around two grams of crack cocaine and more than 50 Percocet pills were found on Robinson's person, said police.
Robinson is currently being held in federal custody in Cleveland.
Police arrested 25-year-old Gerica Newson at the same address. Authorities said Newson had an active warrant out of the Lorain County Sheriff's Office and was handed over to its custody following her arrest.
Two other individuals were arrested when police served a search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of 13th Street.
Lynnea Baker, 38, was charged with possession of drugs and having drug paraphernalia. She was taken to the Lorain County Jail following her arrest. Dale Given, 55, was arrested on a warrant issued out of Parma and turned over to Parma police custody.
