Elyria police are investigating a fatal shooting that left a 46-year-old man dead.
It happened on Friday behind the Convenient Food Mart located at 1401 East Avenue.
According to a press release issued by the department, officers arrived on scene around 6 p.m. and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds.
His name is not being released at this time.
No word on any suspects.
